Review of online markdown html editors

As you probably know markdown is the easy-to-type plain text format that can be banged out in a text editor and converted to html - for example:
#this is an H1 heading
##an H2 heading
*emphasized text*
**strong text**

Single paragraph

(check out the markdown syntax here )

If you're into typing out your markdown code quickly and converting it to HTML then  you'll need a free online markdown editor.
Here's a review of the best markdown editors and convertors on the web:

No 1. spot goes to stackedit.io

Stackedit.io looks good, has live code preview and what I like about this one is that at a click of the <> button you can copy and paste the HTML.

No 2. Joncombe's markdown editor
This editor is just plain and simple with the buttons at the top to save the file as either text or HTML. Great for a quick edit.
